Cancer Surgery
In conjunction with Dominican Santa Cruz Hospital (DSCH), we are pleased to offer surgical services as a nationally recognized Cancer Center. Accreditation comes from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. The Dominican Hospital is designated as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program which catalogs more than 500 newly diagnosed cancer cases each year. Full range of diagnostic and treatment services are provided either on-site or by referral. DSCH participates in cancer-related clinical research either by enrolling patients in cancer-related trials or by referring patients for enrollment at another facility or through a physician's office. Dr. Louis Lee has served as the Consult Liaison Physician between DSCH and the American College of Surgeons since 2013.
Our surgeons perform oncology operations for breast cancer, gastrointestinal, colon and rectal cancer, skin cancer and lymph node biopsies/excisions for lymphoma and leukemia.
